Here is a trick for Megaupload which stops the message "All download slots... assigned to your country are in use..." from appearing while downloading a file, so no need to install that Megaupload Toolbar or wait for that time..

I have FireFox v2.0 & using this trick i can download as soon as i enter the link...(no download slot limit)
I dont think it works with Firefox 1.5 or below.

STEPS

1. Go to address bar and type: about:config

2. Search for general.useragent.extra.firefox
-Double click on it
-Change the default text with this: Firefox/2.0 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0

(This fools the site in thinking that the Alexa/Megaupload Toolbar is installed)

3. Restart Firefox(not necessary) & try downloading.

You can even Pause / Resume downloads. (I do it using DAP)

While it will be hard for RealPlayer to shake off its poor reputation, there’s much to like about version 11. The new interface and jukebox functionality has been appropriately borrowed from iTunes, and the ability to download and save videos from the web, not only works well, but should prove popular with users who want to build their own personal video collection. Having said that, it seems a bit old-hat to only give the option to burn media to a CD or DVD and not covert it for transfer to a portable media player such as an iPod.

I have used winamp for a long time, but i don’t know how tweak my winamp software. Finally, i got some tips to make your winamp better.

1. How To Make Winamp Sound Better

MAD MP3 decoder, MAD represents the decoded audio signal with high precision.

Enhancer 017 is the best DSP plug-in for Winamp and it’s free. Try “General improvements” preset.

Although it’s outdated, some hardware work better with waveOut output. Go to Options / Preferences / Plug-ins / Output and select waveOut. You can read more about DirectSound vs waveOut.

Simple steps to create Shutdown & Restart shortcut on your desktop or in quicklaunch. You don’t need tool to create shutdown shortcut on your desktop.

- Right click on the desktop and select new >> shortcut.
- Shutdown, type shutdown.exe -s -t 00 in text box.
- Restart, type shutdown.exe -r -t 00 in the text box.
- Logoff, type shutdown.exe -1 -t 00 in the text box.

After you create the shortcut on your desktop, you can drag and drop to your quicklaunch bar.
